Men's Sexual Wellness
Personalized Care for Men's Sexual Health
Changes in sexual function can affect confidence, relationships, and quality of life. They can also have many potential contributing factors, including age, cardiovascular and metabolic health, hormone levels, medications, stress, lifestyle, and underlying medical conditions.
At OTR Health & Wellness, we take an individualized approach to men's sexual wellness. We begin by discussing your concerns, health history, goals, and available options so that you can make an informed decision about your care.
Depending on your individual needs, OTR offers sexual-wellness services that may include platelet-rich plasma (PRP) procedures and noninvasive radial acoustic pressure-wave therapy.
Not every treatment is appropriate for every patient, and results vary.
*In-person care in Cumming, Georgia and Panama City Beach, Florida, with telehealth appointments available to eligible patients in both Georgia and Florida.
Men's Sexual-Wellness Services
OTR offers several options for men interested in addressing concerns involving sexual function, sensitivity, performance, or overall sexual wellness.
Before treatment, a healthcare professional will review relevant medical history and discuss the potential benefits, limitations, risks, alternatives, and expectations associated with the service you are considering.
The P-Shot®
A PRP-Based Sexual-Wellness Procedure
The P-Shot® is a proprietary sexual-wellness procedure involving platelet-rich plasma, or PRP.
PRP is prepared from a patient's own blood. After blood is collected, it is processed to concentrate platelets within a portion of the patient's plasma. The resulting PRP is then administered as part of the procedure.
Some men pursue PRP-based procedures for concerns involving erectile function, sensitivity, or sexual wellness.
Evidence regarding PRP for these applications remains limited and continues to evolve. The P-Shot® is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease, premature ejaculation, venous leakage, urinary conditions, or other medical conditions, and it is not FDA-approved to increase penile length or girth.
No specific improvement in erectile function, sensitivity, sexual performance, penile size, or other outcome can be guaranteed.
What Should I Expect?
Before undergoing a P-Shot® procedure, patients receive an appropriate evaluation and an opportunity to discuss their concerns, goals, potential risks, limitations, alternatives, and expected course of care.
Because PRP is prepared from the patient's own blood, the procedure involves an autologous biologic material. This does not mean the procedure is risk-free.
Individual experiences and outcomes vary.
P-Long®
A Multi-Part Men's Sexual-Wellness Protocol
P-Long® is a proprietary protocol that may combine several components, including platelet-rich plasma procedures, use of a traction device, supplements, and patient participation at home.
Patients considering P-Long® should understand that the protocol requires ongoing participation and that individual experiences and outcomes vary.
Evidence regarding the combined P-Long® protocol is limited. No specific increase in penile length, girth, erectile function, firmness, sexual performance, or other outcome can be guaranteed.
Before beginning the program, patients should receive information about the components of the protocol, expected participation, potential risks, limitations, alternatives, and associated costs.
Is P-Long® Right for Me?
P-Long® may not be appropriate for everyone.
A consultation gives you an opportunity to discuss your goals, medical history, expectations, and questions with an OTR healthcare professional before deciding whether to proceed.
Participation in the program should not be interpreted as a guarantee of enlargement, improved erectile function, improved sexual performance, or any other particular result.
Radial Acoustic Pressure-Wave Therapy
A Noninvasive Sexual-Wellness Option
OTR offers radial acoustic pressure-wave therapy as a noninvasive sexual-wellness service.
The technology used by OTR produces radial acoustic pressure waves applied externally during treatment.
It is important to distinguish radial acoustic pressure-wave technology from focused low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy (Li-ESWT) used in some clinical research involving erectile dysfunction. These technologies are not identical, and research involving one type of device or treatment protocol should not automatically be interpreted as evidence for another.
Evidence regarding acoustic-wave approaches for erectile dysfunction and sexual wellness continues to evolve.
OTR's radial acoustic pressure-wave treatment is not FDA-approved to cure erectile dysfunction, and individual outcomes vary.
What Happens During Treatment?
Treatment is noninvasive and is performed in the office using an acoustic pressure-wave device.
Your OTR provider can explain the treatment process, proposed treatment schedule, potential risks and limitations, alternatives, and what you may experience during and following a session.
The number and frequency of sessions recommended may vary depending on the patient and treatment plan.
Which Option Is Right for Me?
Sexual-function concerns can have multiple contributing factors, and there is no single treatment that is appropriate for every patient.
The right starting point is a conversation about your concerns, medical history, goals, and expectations.
Depending on your circumstances, your healthcare professional may also recommend further medical evaluation or discuss other treatment options.
OTR does not guarantee that a particular procedure or protocol will be recommended simply because you request it.

Setting Realistic Expectations
OTR believes patients should understand both the possibilities and limitations of elective sexual-wellness services.
Research involving PRP and acoustic-wave approaches to male sexual function continues to develop. Available evidence does not establish that every patient will benefit or that a particular result will occur.
Individual outcomes can vary substantially.
OTR does not guarantee:
An increase in penile length or girth
Firmer or longer-lasting erections
Increased sensitivity
Increased libido
Delayed ejaculation
Correction of penile curvature
Resolution of venous leakage
A cure for erectile dysfunction
Improved sexual performance
Permanent or lasting results
Your healthcare professional can discuss reasonable expectations, potential risks, available alternatives, and whether a particular service may be appropriate for you.
